A warm and intimate atmosphere, shaped by the contrasts of light

As part of the renovation of La Confrérie restaurant in Vevey, we were commissioned to design and supply the establishment’s lighting solution. The client wanted a warm and elegant atmosphere that would clearly distinguish the different areas of the space, rather than uniform lighting.

The challenge, therefore, was not only to provide effective lighting but also to use contrasts to create distinct atmospheres from one space to the next, while discreetly integrating the lighting into the restaurant’s woodwork and architecture. This project was carried out in close collaboration with the client, whose expectations we monitored at every stage, as well as with the team of electricians responsible for the installation.

Custom Integration

To highlight the design, our team integrated Ledixa LED strips directly into the woodwork, eliminating any visible trace of the light source so that only the light itself is visible. This custom integration accentuates the architectural design of the arches while enveloping the room in soft, continuous light—lighting that defines the space without ever being overpowering.

For virtually the entire project, we also selected Lumenear acoustic lighting fixtures, which combine high-quality light with acoustic comfort—a key consideration in a dining venue where acoustics play a vital role in the guests’ experience.

We sought to create subtle yet expressive lighting that reflects the warm atmosphere of the space.
