The Budé cycle d'orientation was built in 1964 by Claude Grosgurin. It currently covers an area of around 13,500 m2 and can accommodate more than 750 pupils. It is located in the town of Grand-Saconnex in Geneva. Due to the need for a major renovation, a call for tenders was organised in 2009, which was won by the Geneva-based architectural firm Guenin Atelier d'Architectures.

Our lighting design and planning office helped to find an unusual solution for lighting the auditorium space. The auditorium is a large room of over 600 m2, with black walls. Linear luminaires were integrated to make the space as magical as it is exceptional.
