Linear profiles: 25-meter spans for renovation

A good balance between visual comfort and light contrast, lighting fixtures specifically developed by Ledixa, and a particular attention to detail—these are the hallmarks of this project. Designed in collaboration with the architectural firm |MHA| Mariela Hernández Architectes, this project reflects My Physio’s identity through fluid, innovative architecture and lighting that is both bold and inviting.

A Lighted Walking Trail

Designed for—but above all, in collaboration with—the future occupants of the space, the result is a cohesive whole that intelligently combines areas of calm and dynamism, defining them through different lighting atmospheres. Primarily open, the space adapts and modulates to best meet visitors’ needs while creating distinct spheres of activity. In this way, the interplay of light works in harmony to help the body regain its balance.

One of the challenges—but also one of the strengths—of this project is undoubtedly the installation of a 25-meter-long walking track, entirely illuminated by NEMA linear profiles from Ledixa. Arranged at regular 5-meter intervals across multiple planes, these beams of light mark continuity, add rhythm to the depth, and indicate the distance traveled. The product’s anti-glare qualities have helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while optimizing visual comfort for patients along the path.

Our goal was to transform light into a genuine therapeutic tool. Each light strip was designed to promote orientation, visual comfort, and patient confidence throughout their rehabilitation journey.

The My Physio Geneva project illustrates how well-designed architectural lighting can contribute to patients’ well-being, wayfinding, and comfort. Thanks to the discreet integration of LED profiles and a focus on light quality, the rehabilitation spaces feature an atmosphere that is both functional and soothing.
