In a constantly evolving professional world, the quality of lighting in workspaces has become a key factor in both well-being and performance. Well-designed architectural lighting goes beyond its utilitarian function: it shapes space, enhances ergonomics, and fosters an atmosphere conducive to focus and productivity.

The NIRU project, located in the heart of the Espace Tourbillon building in Plan-les-Ouates, embodies a contemporary vision of professional workspace design. This high-end jewellery and stone-setting workshop was conceived to combine artisanal precision, comfort, and aesthetics. The space is defined by its generous volumes, refined materials, and the omnipresence of natural light, creating an elegant and inspiring work environment.

Commissioned to design the professional interior lighting, Clarma was responsible for selecting the luminaires and conducting the photometric studies, fully aligned with the specific demands of the jewellery profession. The objective: to ensure uniform, high-quality lighting perfectly suited to meticulous craftsmanship.

Lighting systems engineered for high technical performance

For the workstations, the choice fell on SLIMY LED panels by Ledixa, renowned for their sleek design and visual performance. These luminaires provide optimal comfort thanks to a low glare index (UGR<19) and a color temperature of 3000K, ideal for precision areas. Integrated into felt acoustic panels, the LED panels also contribute to improving sound comfort, creating a workspace that is both calming and efficient.

For this project, our priority was to deliver lighting that met the technical requirements of the profession while creating a comfortable and calming work atmosphere. Through meticulous lighting planning and the careful selection of solutions, we successfully combined performance, ergonomics, and aesthetics.

A refined atmosphere even in shared spaces
In the waiting and lounge areas, Clarma has selected the Biba pendant lights from the brand Intra Lighting. True drops of designer light, these fixtures add a warm and elegant touch, while providing soft, welcoming illumination for break zones.
The circulation areas and corridors are equipped with Sobrio Deep recessed spotlights from Ledixa, designed to deliver functional and discreet lighting. Seamlessly integrated into the ceiling, these fixtures ensure a smooth visual continuity and even lighting throughout passageways, without disrupting the architectural readability of the space.

Clarma, an expert in bespoke lighting solutions, continues to support the most demanding projects by combining technical performance, comfort, and design in every installation.
