Warm ambience thanks to lightingIn 2019, major renovation work was carried out in the main building of the Hôtel des Finances du Canton de Genève to improve the security of the building and the reception of the public. The project involved grouping all the reception desks together on the ground floor of the building. The inner courtyard was transformed into a waiting room, providing convenient access to all the new counters.
Lighting plays a crucial role in this space, providing adequate illumination to enhance the visitor experience. The wooden structure provides excellent acoustic quality to the waiting area, ensuring optimum privacy between the counters. The Gyon luminaires are carefully integrated between the beams, providing uniform, neutral lighting.
