As part of the modernization of the university library, our team was selected following a tender to design and plan the lighting for the interior spaces.

This project aimed to create a high-performance, comfortable, and sustainable lighting environment, meeting the functional requirements of a space dedicated to study, research, and concentration.
The lighting design was carefully planned to support the library’s various uses: reading areas, individual and collaborative workspaces, circulation zones, and collection consultation areas. Particular attention was given to visual quality, uniformity of illumination, and glare control, ensuring optimal comfort for users over extended periods.

Installation of 480 luminaires in the main hall

The Gyon luminaire by Intralighting was selected for its high photometric performance, sleek and contemporary design, and its ability to integrate seamlessly with the building’s architecture. It provides uniform light distribution, ideal for reading and work areas, while ensuring excellent visual comfort and effective glare control. Its high installation flexibility allowed precise adaptation to the project’s technical and architectural constraints, while guaranteeing optimal energy efficiency and long-lasting light quality suited to the requirements of a university environment.

We responded to the tender by proposing a high-performance lighting solution that combines light quality, energy efficiency, and architectural integration.
